Imam Bukhari narrates: Imran bin Maisarah narrated to us, he said: Abdul Warith narrated to us, he said: Khalid al-Hadhdha narrated to us from Abi Qilabah from Anas, may Allāh be pleased with him, he said that

the people mentioned lighting a fire and striking a bell, so they mentioned the Jews and the Christians, then he commanded Bilal, may Allāh be pleased with him, that he say the words of the Adhan twice each, and say the words of the Iqamah once each.
