Imam Bukhari narrates: Musaddad narrated to us, he said: Yahya narrated to us, he said: Auf narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Minhal narrated to us, he said:

I went with my father to Abu Barzah al-Aslami, may Allāh be pleased with him. My father said to him: Narrate to us how the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to pray the obligatory prayer. He said that he used to pray at midday, this is the prayer which you call the "Pesheen," he used to pray this prayer when the sun declined (from the middle of the sky), and he used to pray the Asr prayer, then one of us would return to his house in the farthest part of Madinah while the sun was still shining. And I forgot what he said about the Maghrib prayer. And he liked that the Isha prayer be delayed, and he disliked sleeping before Isha, and he disliked talking after Isha. And when he returned after the Fajr prayer, one of us would recognize the person sitting beside him at that time, and he used to recite sixty to a hundred verses.
