Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 589

Imām Bukhārī narrates: Abū al-Nu'mān narrated to us, he said: Hammād ibn Zaid narrated to us, from Ayyūb, from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, he said:

I pray in the way that I have seen my companions praying; whoever prays at any time of the day or night, I do not forbid him, except that he should not intend to pray at the time of the rising of the sun, nor intend to pray at the time of the setting of the sun.
