Imām Bukhārī narrates: 'Abdullāh ibn Maslamah narrated to us, from Imām Mālik, from Zaid ibn Aslam, from 'Atā' ibn Yasār, and from Busr ibn Sa'īd, and from al-A'raj, they narrate the hadith from Abū Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
Whoever catches one rak'ah of Fajr before the rising of the sun has caught Fajr, and whoever catches one rak'ah of 'Asr before the setting of the sun has caught 'Asr.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، وَعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، يُحَدِّثُونَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصُّبْحَ، وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْعَصْرَ ".
