Imām Bukhārī narrates: 'Abdur-Rahīm al-Muhāribī narrated to us, he said: Zā'idah narrated to us, from Humaid al-Tawīl, from Anas, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrated that:
the Prophet ﷺ delayed the 'Ishā' prayer until midnight, then prayed, then said: The people have prayed and slept, and you have continued to be counted as in prayer, as long as you were waiting for the prayer. And Ibn Abī Maryam added this: Yahyā ibn Ayyūb informed us, he said: Humaid narrated to us, he said: I heard Anas, may Allāh be pleased with him, he said: It is as if, on that night, I was seeing the glow of the ring of the Prophet ﷺ.
