Imām Bukhārī narrates: Al-Humaidī narrated to us, he said: Marwān ibn Mu'āwiyah narrated to us, he said: Ismā'īl narrated to us, from Qais, from Jarīr, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrated that:

We were with the Prophet ﷺ; he looked one night towards the moon, that is, on the night of the full moon, then he said: Indeed you will see your Lord just as you are seeing this moon; you will have no difficulty in seeing Him. If you are able not to be overcome in praying before the rising of the sun and before the setting of the sun, then do this (surely). Then he recited this verse: "And glorify the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting." (Qāf: ).

Ismā'īl said: Do this; do not let it be missed by you.
