Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 552

Imām Bukhārī narrates: 'Abdullāh ibn Yūsuf narrated to us, he said: Imām Mālik informed us, from Nāfi', from 'Abdullāh ibn 'Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

Whoever misses the 'Asr prayer, it is as if he has lost his family and his wealth.

Imām Abū 'Abdullāh said: "Your deeds are destroyed" — and "I destroyed the man," meaning: I killed him, or I took his wealth.
