Imām Bukhārī narrates: Muhammad, that is Ibn Muqātil, narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullāh informed us, he said: Khālid ibn 'Abdur-Rahmān informed us, he said: Ghālib al-Qattān narrated to me, from Bakr ibn 'Abdullāh al-Muzanī, from Anas ibn Mālik, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrated:

When we prayed the Zuhr prayer, mostly behind the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, we would perform sajdah upon our garments, to protect ourselves from the heat.
