Imām Bukhārī narrates: Muhammad ibn Bashshār narrated to us, he said: Ghundar narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Muhājir Abī al-Hasan, he heard Zaid ibn Wahb, from Abī Dharr, may Allāh be pleased with him, he said that:

the mu'adhdhin of the Prophet ﷺ intended to give the adhān for Zuhr, so he said: In the cooler time, in the cooler time, or he said: Wait, wait. And he said: The intensity of heat is from the raging of the Fire, so when the heat is intense, pray the prayer in the cooler time, until we saw the shadow of the hills.
