Imam Bukhari narrates: Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Imam Malik narrated to us, from Abu An-Nadr who is the freed slave of Umar bin Ubaidullah, from Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman, from Hazrat Ayeshah (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of the Prophet ﷺ, she narrates that
was sleeping in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and both my feet used to be towards his Qiblah direction, so when he made Sajdah, he would gesture to me with his hand, then I would draw in my feet, then when he stood up, I would stretch out my feet again, and in the houses in those days there were no lamps.
