Imam Bukhari narrates: Yahya narrated to us, he said: Abu Muawiyah narrated to us from al-A'mash from Muslim from Masruq from Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu'bah, may Allāh be pleased with him, he narrated,

I was with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey. He said: O Mughirah! Pick up the vessel (of water). I picked up the vessel, then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ went until he was hidden from me, then he relieved himself, and upon him was a Syrian cloak. He began to take his hand out from its sleeve, it was narrow, so he took his hand out from beneath the sleeve. I poured water upon him, then he performed ablution for prayer and wiped upon his socks, then he prayed.
