(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdan narrated to us, he said: Abdullah informed us, he said: Auf informed us, from Abi Raja, he said: Imran bin Al-Husain Al-Khuza'i narrated to us that

the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saw a man standing apart, who had not prayed with the people. He said: O so-and-so! What prevented you from praying with the people? He said: O Messenger of Allāh! I have become in a state of janabah, and there is no water. He said: You should adhere to clean earth (perform Tayammum with it); it is sufficient for you.
