(Imam Bukhari narrates that) Sulaiman Abu Ar-Rabi' narrated to us, he says: Isma'il bin Ja'far narrated to us, he says: Nafi' bin Malik bin Abi Amir Abu Sahl narrated to us, from his father, from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allāh be pleased with him), from the Prophet ﷺ, he said:

The hypocrite has three signs: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays the trust.
