‘Abdah informed me; ‘Abd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; from ‘Abd al-Raḥmān; from his father;

from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allāh be content with them both), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: “The noble one, son of the noble one, son of the noble one, son of the noble one is Yūsuf (Joseph), the son of Ya’qūb (Jacob), the son of Is-ḥāq (Isaac), the son of Ibrāhīm (Abraham) — peace be upon them all.”
