Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mundhir narrated to us; Anas ibn ‘Iyāḍ narrated to us; from ‘Ubaydullāh; from Nāfi’:

That ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allāh be content with them both) informed him that the people stopped with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ in the land of Thamūd, at al-Ḥijr. They drew water from its wells and kneaded dough with it. So, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ ordered them to pour out the water they had drawn from its wells, and to feed the dough to the camels. He also ordered them to draw water from the well from which the she-camel (of Ṣāliḥ) used to drink.

This narration was also reported by Usāmah from Nāfi’.
