‘Uthmān ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us; Jarīr narrated to us; from Manṣūr; from al- Minhāl; from Sa’īd ibn Jubayr;
from ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allāh be content with them both), who said: The Prophet ﷺ would seek protection for al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn, and he would say: “Indeed, your father used to seek protection with these words for Ismā’īl and Is-ḥāq (peace be upon both of them): I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allāh from every devil, every harmful creature, and from every evil eye.”
