Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 336

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Zakariyya bin Yahya narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin Numair narrated to us, he said: Hisham bin Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her), she says that

she borrowed a necklace from Hazrat Asma (may Allāh be pleased with her); it got lost (having fallen). So the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ sent a man; then he (or he himself) found that necklace. Then the time for prayer came, and the people had no water; so the people prayed (without wudu). Then this was complained about to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and Allāh the Exalted revealed the verse of Tayammum. So Hazrat Usaid bin Hudair said to Hazrat Aisha: May Allāh reward you well; by Allāh, whenever anything happened to you that you disliked, Allāh placed good in it for you and for the Muslims.
