Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Naṣr narrated to us; Abū Usāmah narrated to us; from Abū Ḥayyān; from Abū Zur’ah;
from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be content with him), who said: One day some meat was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: “Indeed, Allāh will gather the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection on a single plain. The caller will make them hear, and sight will encompass them, and the sun will draw near to them.” Then he mentioned the ḥadīth of intercession, and said: “They will come to Ibrāhīm (upon whom be peace) and say: ‘You are the Prophet of Allāh and His close friend (Khalīl) from among the people of the earth. Intercede for us with your Lord.’ He will say — and he mentioned his (three) statements that appeared as lies — ‘I am concerned about myself, I myself am in need of my own intercession! Go to Mūsā (upon whom be peace).’”
This narration is also supported (corroborated) by Anas from the Prophet ﷺ.
