‘Ubaydullāh ibn Mūsā — or Ibn Salām narrated it from him — narrated to us; Ibn Jurayj informed us, from ‘Abd al-Ḥamīd ibn Jubayr, from Sa’īd ibn al-Musayyib,

from Umm Sharīk (may Allāh be content with her), that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ ordered that the gecko (lizard) be killed, and he said: “It used to blow on (the fire of) Ibrāhīm, peace be upon him.”
