Ismā’īl ibn ‘Abdullāh narrated to us, he said: My brother ‘Abd al-Ḥamīd informed me, from Ibn Abī Dhi’b, from Sa’īd al-Maqburī,

from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be content with him), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “Ibrāhīm (upon whom be peace) will meet his father Āzar on the Day of Resurrection, and on Āzar’s face will be darkness and dust. Ibrāhīm (upon whom be peace) will say to him, ‘Did I not tell you not to disobey me?’ His father will say, ‘Today, I will not disobey you.’ Ibrāhīm (upon whom be peace) will say, ‘O my Lord, You promised me that You would not disgrace me on the Day they are resurrected. And what disgrace is greater than (seeing) my father cast far away?’ Allāh Almighty will say: ‘Indeed, I have forbidden Paradise to the disbelievers.’ Then, it will be said, ‘O Ibrāhīm (upon whom be peace), look beneath your feet.’ So, he will look, and behold, there will be a hyena-like animal, filthy and soiled. It will be seized by its legs and thrown into the Fire.”
