Al-Layth said, from Yaḥyā ibn Sa’īd, from ‘Amrah,
from ‘Ā’ishah (may Allāh Almighty be content with her), who said: I heard the Prophet saying: “The souls are like assembled troops: those among them who recognise one another become harmonious, and those who do not recognise one another differ.”
And Yaḥyā ibn Ayyūb said: Yaḥyā ibn Sa’īd narrated this ḥadīth to me as well
قَالَ قَالَ اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها
قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ، فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ، وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ "
