(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ahmad bin Yunus narrated to us, from Zuhair, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Urwah, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her), she says that the Prophet ﷺ said:
When menstruation comes, leave prayer, and when menstruation goes, wash the blood from your body and pray.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُس، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
قَالَتْ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الحَيْضَةُ، فَدَعِي الصَّلاَةَ، وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ، فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي
