(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Sa'd bin Hafs narrated to us, he said: Shaiban narrated to us, from Yahya, from Abi Salamah, from Zainab bint Abi Salamah, she says that Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allāh be pleased with her) narrated to her that

I was (lying) with the Prophet ﷺ in one cloak when my menses began. I quietly got up and got out of bed, then I took my menstrual clothes and put them on. Then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to me: Has your nifas begun? I said: Yes! Then he called me and brought me back into the cloak with him.

Zainab bint Abi Salamah said: And Hazrat Umm Salamah narrated this hadith to me, that I would be fasting, and the Prophet ﷺ would kiss me, and I and the Prophet ﷺ used to bathe for janabah taking water from one vessel.
