Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 321

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Musa bin Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, he said: Qatadah narrated to us, he said: Mu'adhah narrated to me that

a woman said to Hazrat Aisha: Is it sufficient for any of us that when she becomes pure from menstruation, she prays the (missed) prayers? Hazrat Aisha said: Are you a Haruriyyah (a member of a deviant sect)? We used to menstruate in the time of the Prophet ﷺ, and he did not command us to pray (the missed prayers) — or Hazrat Aisha said: We did not do that, that is, we did not pray (the missed prayers).
