Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 320

(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdullah bin Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her),

that Hazrat Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish's blood continued to flow; she asked the Prophet ﷺ; he said: This is (the blood of) a vein, and it is not menstruation; so when menstruation comes, leave prayer, and when menstruation goes, bathe and pray.
