(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Musa bin Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from Urwah, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her), she said:

I entered into ihram with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ in the Farewell Pilgrimage; I was among those who entered into ihram for Hajj At-Tamattu, and had not sent a Hady. Then Hazrat Aisha said that her menses began, and she did not become pure until the night of Arafah came; so she said: O Messenger of Allāh! This is the night of Arafah, and I entered into ihram with Tamattu, combining it with Umrah? Then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to her: Undo the hair of your head and comb it, and suspend your Umrah. So I did this; then when I had performed Hajj, he commanded Hazrat Abdur Rahman, on the night of Al-Hasbah (the night when, after the days of Tashriq, people would stop at the Valley of Muhassab on their way back from Mina, and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ also stopped there), that in place of the Umrah for which I had entered into ihram, he should take me to perform Umrah from the place of Tan'im.
