(Imām Bukhārī narrates): And Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allāh be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said:
While Hazrat Ayyub (peace be upon him) was bathing naked, a golden locust fell upon him. Hazrat Ayyub began putting his garment over it (to catch it). Then his Lord called to him: O Ayyub! Have I not made you free of need of what you are seeing? Hazrat Ayyub said: Why not! By Your honor! But I am not free of need of Your blessing. This hadith has been narrated by Ibrahim, from Musa bin Uqbah, from Safwan bin Sulaim, from Ata bin Yasar, from Hazrat Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Hazrat Ayyub was bathing naked.
