(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Khallad bin Yahya narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim bin Nafi' narrated to us, from Al-Hasan bin Muslim, from Safiyyah bint Shaibah, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her), she says:

When janabah occurred to any of us, she would take water with both her hands three times and pour it on her head, then take water in her hand and pour it on the right side of her head, then take water in her hand and pour it on the left side of her head.
