(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Yusuf bin Isa narrated to us, he said: Al-Fadl bin Musa informed us, he said: Al-A'mash informed us, from Salim, from Kuraib, the freed slave of Hazrat Ibn Abbas, from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allāh be pleased with both of them), from Hazrat Maimunah (may Allāh be pleased with her), she says that

the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ placed water for the ghusl of janabah. He poured water from his right hand onto his left hand twice or thrice, then he washed his private part, then he rubbed his hand on the ground or the wall twice or thrice, then he rinsed his mouth and put water in his nose and washed his face and his wrists, then he poured water on his head, then he washed his body, then he went aside and washed his feet. Hazrat Maimunah says: Then I brought him a towel, but he did not want it, and he began shaking the water off his hand.
