(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdan narrated to us, he said: Abdullah informed us, he said: Hisham bin Urwah informed us, from his father, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her), she says that
when the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ performed the ghusl of janabah, he would wash both his hands and perform the wudu of prayer, then (begin) the ghusl, then run his fingers through his hair with his hand, and when he was certain that the water had reached the skin, he would then pour water over himself three times, then wash his entire body.
