(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Musa bin Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Abu Awanah narrated to us, he said: Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Salim bin Abi Al-Ja'd, from Kuraib, the freed slave of Hazrat Ibn Abbas, from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allāh be pleased with both of them), from Hazrat Maimunah bint Al-Harith (may Allāh be pleased with her), she says that

I placed water for the Messenger of Allāh's ﷺ ghusl, and screened him. He poured water on his (right) hand once or twice and washed it — Sulaiman said: I do not know whether he mentioned a third time or not — then he poured water from his right hand onto his left hand, then he washed his private part, then he rubbed his hand on the ground or the wall, then he rinsed his mouth and put water in his nose, and washed his face and his hands and his head, then he poured water over his entire body, then he moved aside and washed his feet, then I gave him a towel, so he gestured with his hand and did not want it.
