(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Umar bin Hafs bin Ghiyath narrated to us, he says: My father narrated to us, he says: Al-A'mash narrated to us, he says: Salim narrated to me, from Kuraib, from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allāh be pleased with both of them), he says: Hazrat Maimunah (may Allāh be pleased with her) narrated to us, she says:
I poured water (into a vessel) for the ghusl of the Prophet ﷺ. He poured water from his right hand onto his left hand, then washed both hands, then washed his private part, then placed his hand on the ground and rubbed it with earth, then washed that hand, then rinsed his mouth and put water in his nose, then washed his face and poured water over his head, then went aside and washed both his feet, then a towel was brought, but he did not wipe his body with it.
