(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Abu Asim narrated to us, from Hanzalah, from Al-Qasim, from Hazrat Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her), she says that

when the Prophet ﷺ performed the ghusl of janabah, he would call for a vessel like a milk-container, then, taking water in his palm, he would begin from the right side of the head, then the left side, then pour water with both palms over the middle of the head.
