Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 257

Mūsā ibn Ismā’īl reported to us, he said: ‘Abd al-Wāḥid reported to us, from al-A’mash, from Sālim ibn Abī al-Ja’d, from Kurayb,

from ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allāh be content with him), who said that Maymūnah bint al-Hārith (may Allāh be content with her) said: I placed water for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for his Ghusl. He washed his hands two or three times, then poured water with his left hand and washed his private parts. Then, he rubbed his hand on the ground, then rinsed his mouth and sniffed water into his nose, and washed his face and both hands. Then, he poured water over his entire body. After that, he moved from that place and washed his feet.
