Abū Nu’aym reported to us, he said: Ibn ‘Uyaynah reported to us, from ‘Amr, from Jābir ibn Zayd,
from Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allāh be content with him), who said that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Maymunah bint al-Hārith (may Allāh be content with her) used to perform Ghusl from a single vessel. And Yazīd ibn Hārūn, Bahz, and al-Judayy narrated from Shu‘bah that the vessel was approximately of the measure of one ṣā‘.
Al-Imām Abū ‘Abdullāh (al-Bukhārī) said: Ibn ‘Uyaynah mentioned at the end that it is narrated from ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās, from Maymunah bint al-Harith. And what is correct is that which Abū Nu’aym has narrated.
