Ādam ibn Abī Iyās reported to us, he said: Ibn Abī Dhi’b reported to us, from al-Zuhrī, from ‘Urwah,

from ‘Ā’ishah bint Abī Bakr (may Allāh be content with her), who said: I and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to perform Ghusl together from a single vessel, which was called a Faraq [a container that held approximately eight litres of water, as mentioned by al-‘Aynī].
