Abū Nu‘aym reported to us, he said: Mis‘ar reported to us, he said: Ibn Jabr reported to me, he said:

I heard Anas ibn Malik (may Allāh be content with him) saying that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to perform Ghusl with one ṣā‘ of water—up to five mudd (approximately four to five litres)—and he would perform Wuḍū’ with one mudd (approximately one litre) of water.
