(Imam Bukhari narrates that) Abdullah bin Maslamah narrates from Imam Malik, he narrates from Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman bin Abi Sa'sa'ah, from his father, from Hazrat Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allāh be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
It is near that the best wealth of a Muslim will be goats, which he drives to the peaks of mountains and to places of rainfall, fleeing with his religion from trials.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرَ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ يَتْبَعُ بِهَا شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ وَمَوَاقِعَ الْقَطْرِ، يَفِرُّ بِدِينِهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ.
