Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: Aḥmad ibn Yūnus narrated to us; he said: ‘Abd al-‘Azīz ibn Abī Salamah narrated to us; he said: ‘Amr ibn Yaḥyā narrated to us, from his father,
from ‘Abdullāh ibn Zayd (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), that: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us, and we brought out water for him in a brass basin. He performed Wuḍū’ from it. He washed his face three times, washed his hands twice each, wiped over his head—moving his hands from the front to the back and then bringing them back from the back to the front—and washed both of his feet.
