Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: ‘Abdullāh ibn Munīr narrated to us; he heard from ‘Abdullāh ibn Bakr, who said: Ḥumayd narrated to us,

from Anas ibn Mālik (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), who said: The time for prayer came. Those whose homes were nearby stood up and went (to perform wuḍūʾ), while the rest remained there. Then a stone trough containing water was brought to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. It was so small that he could not fully spread his hand in it. Yet all the people performed wuḍūʾ from it. We asked, “How many of you were there?” He replied, “More than eighty.”
