Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 191

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: Musaddad narrated to us; he said: Khālid ibn ‘Abdullāh narrated to us; he said: ‘Amr ibn Yaḥyā narrated to us, from his father,

from ‘Abdullāh ibn Zayd (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), that: He poured water from a vessel onto his hands and washed them. Then he took a single handful of water and rinsed his mouth and put water into his nose. He did this three times. Then he washed his face three times. Then he washed both arms up to the elbows twice each. Then he wiped over his head — moving his hands from the front of the head to the back, and then bringing them back from the back to the front. Then he washed both of his feet up to the ankles. Then he said: “The Wuḍūʾ of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was like this.”
