Sahih Al Bukhari 189

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: ‘Alī ibn ‘Abdullāh narrated to us, he said: Ya’qūb ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Sa’d narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me from Ṣāliḥ, from Ibn Shihāb, who said:

Maḥmūd ibn al-Rabī’ (may Allāh Almighty be content with him) informed me — and he is the one upon whose face was blessed by the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ with a rinsed mouthful of water from their well. At that time, he was a young boy. And ‘Urwah said, from Manṣūr and others — and each of them confirmed from his companion — that whenever the Prophet ﷺ performed Wuḍū’ (ablution), the Companions would almost quarrel with one another in order to collect the water that dripped from his Wuḍū’.
