Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: Mūsā ibn Ismā’īl narrated to us; he said: Wahb narrated to us, from ‘Amr,

from his father, who said: I was present with ‘Amr ibn Abī Ḥasan, and he asked ‘Abdullāh ibn Zayd - may Allāh Almighty be content with him - about the Wuḍū’ of the Prophet ﷺ. So he called for a large vessel of water, and he performed Wuḍū’ for them in the manner of the Wuḍū’ of the Prophet ﷺ. He poured water over his hands and washed his hands three times. Then he put his hand into the vessel and took three handfuls of water, with which he rinsed his mouth and put water into his nose. Then he put his hand into the vessel and washed his face three times. Then he washed his hands up to the elbows twice. Then he put his hand into the vessel and wiped his head, moving both hands once from the front of the head to the back of the head. Then he washed both of his feet up to the ankles.
