Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd al-Raḥīm narrated to us; he said: Sa’īd ibn Sulaymān informed us; he said: ‘Abbād narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Ibn Sīrīn,
from Anas ibn Mālik (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), who said: When the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ shaved his blessed head, Abū Ṭalḥah - may Allāh Almighty be content with him - was the very first person to receive and take possession of his blessed hair.
