Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 169

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: ‘Abdullāh ibn Yūsuf narrated to us; he said: Imām Mālik informed us from Isḥāq ibn ‘Abdullāh ibn Abī Ṭalḥah,

from Anas ibn Mālik (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), who said: I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ at the time of the ‘Aṣr prayer. People sought water for ablution but found none. Then a vessel of water was brought to the Prophet ﷺ. He placed his hand in it and commanded the people to perform Wudū’ with that water. I saw water bubbling from beneath his fingers until all the people had completed their ablution.
