Sahih Al Bukhari 168

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: Ḥafṣ ibn ‘Umar narrated to us; he said: Shu’bah narrated to us; he said: Ash’ath ibn Sulaym informed me, saying: I heard from my father, from Masrūq,

from Sayyidah ‘Ā’ishah (may Allāh Almighty be content with her), that the Prophet ﷺ preferred to begin with the right side in everything: • when putting on shoes, • when clenching the fist, • when performing Wudū’, • and in all his actions.
