Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: Mūsā narrated to us; he said: Abū ‘Awānah narrated to us from Abū Bishr, from Yūsuf ibn Māhak,

from Sayyidunā ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allāh Almighty be content with both of them), who said: We were once on a journey, and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ fell behind us. He later caught up with us while we had delayed the ‘Aṣr prayer. We then began performing ablution, and we were wiping over our feet. Thereupon, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ raised his voice and said—two or three times: “Woe to the heels from the Fire!”
