Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: ‘Abdān narrated to us; he said: ‘Abdullāh informed us; he said: Yūnus informed us from al-Zuhrī, who said: Abū Idrīs informed me that
he heard Sayyidunā Abū Hurayrah - may Allāh Almighty be content with him - narrating from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “Whoever performs ablution should rinse his nose with water; and whoever cleans himself using stones should do so an odd number of times.”
حدَّثنا عَبْدانُ، قالَ: أخبَرَنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قالَ: أخبَرَنا يُونُسُ، عن الزُّهْرِيِّ، قالَ: أخبَرَني أبو إِدْرِيسَ:أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، عن النَّبِيِّ ﷺ: أَنَّهُ قالَ
مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَلْيَسْتَنْثِرْ، وَمَنِ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ.
