Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf related to us; he said: al-Awzā’ī related to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from ‘Abdullāh ibn Abī Qatādah,
from his father (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), that: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “When one of you urinates, let him not hold his private part with his right hand, nor cleanse himself with his right hand, and let him not breathe into a drinking vessel.”
