Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 153

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: Mu’ādh ibn Faḍālah related to us; he said: Hishām ad-Dastuwā’ī related to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from ‘Abdullāh ibn Abī Qatādah,

from his father (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), that: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “When one of you drinks, let him not breathe into the vessel. And when he goes to relieve himself, let him not touch his private parts with his right hand, nor cleanse himself with his right hand.”
